HOW TO GET TO US FROM LONDON
Just under an hour and direct from London, The Jolly Sportsman pub is a 20 minute walk from Plumpton Station across the beautiful Sussex countryside. It’s the perfect spot to escape the bustling city life for the day and not need a car. The map below outlines the walk - the path being in red.
Directions: Come out of the station and cross over the road, walking towards the road crossing over the tracks you will see a gate to your left. Go through this gate and walk along the concrete track past the playing fields on your left and with the railway tracks on your right. You will see a pathway into a wooded area to your right once past the fields. Take this path, walk through the gate into a field. Walk until you reach a style on your right which will take you across the train line. PLEASE BE CAREFUL CROSSING!! On the other side walk diagonally to your left through the large field to the wooded area. Walk straight through the wooded area over the stream and into another meadow. Follow the path straight up. Once past the hedge on your right you will see the Jolly Sportsman.
