YOUR JOLLY STAY
The Jolly is a hidden gem with four beautiful bedrooms, surrounded by stunning views, vineyards, and countryside walks. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle, while offering excellent access to Lewes, Brighton, Gatwick, Newhaven Ferry, Glyndebourne, London, and the South East for business or leisure. We offer dog-friendly rooms, ample free off-road parking, and fans on request (please note our rooms do not have air conditioning).
Just one hour from London by train and under 30 minutes from Brighton, we're ideally located for exploring Sussex, including Glyndebourne, Charleston, Plumpton Racecourse, Lewes, Brighton, the Seven Sisters, local vineyards, and the Bluebell Railway, while enjoying the area's fantastic food and wine. From 1st September to 31st March, the pub will close on Tuesday evening from 4 pm. We will still be open for rooms and happy to provide a cheese/charcuterie plate for the room or a list of establishments nearby to visit. Breakfast will be as normal on Wednesday morning.
AMENITIES
We offer four beautiful en-suite double bedrooms above the pub. One room is a larger suite which can accommodate two small children on a sofa and zed bed. All our rooms have comfortable super king size beds with Egyptian cotton linen and fluffy towels & robes, quality mattresses, luxurious en-suite bathrooms with spacious waterfall showers accompanied by sumptuous products, Nespresso machines, organic tea facilities, flat screen TVs with Netflix and Amazon Prime and free Wifi. There is a mini fridge in each room with still & sparkling water, milk & cordial. A walking booklet with a variety of walks in the area can also be found. Please be aware that our rooms do not have air conditioning, although fans can be provided on request.
BREAKFAST
A delicious breakfast is served in the pub downstairs in our cosy snug.

Most of our resident room rates include breakfast, although we do have a room-only rate available, if you wish to decide to have breakfast at the last minute, our breakfast menu & prices can be found below.
We offer a ready-made breakfast for those who need to get away earlier. Please enquire with our staff.
FURRY FRIENDS
We allow well behaved and quiet dogs into the rooms, pub and garden. A charge of £20 is added onto the bill to cover extra cleaning costs. Please be aware of other guests at all times when bringing your dog. We have a ‘doggy box’ in the corridor with towels, shampoo, blanket & bowl. An individual goody bag for the pups is also given if we know about your furry friends coming in advance.

Check-in: From 3 pm. Early check-in or late check-out is available on request and will be subject to a charge.
Prices start from £150 per night
Check-out: 11 am. All payments for rooms (UNLESS PREPAID) and any extras such as dinner/lunches are paid on checkout.
Please note the rooms are accessed via an external wooden staircase, located in our garden, so are not recommended for people with mobility issues. There are no ground-floor rooms.
